"Ugggghhhhhh" Moments

Of all the household tasks, the one I loathe the  most is unloading the dishwasher.  I don't know why, it's not a hard job but I just really despise doing it.

My "uggggghhhhhhh" moment of the week came doing this very task.

I unloaded the entire top shelf of the dishwasher before I realized that although I distinctly remembered filling the soap dispenser to run the dishwasher the night before, I never actually STARTED it.  So all those dishes I just put away - WERE NOT CLEAN!!!!

Sometimes rinsing your dishes really well before loading them is not helpful to you.  This would be one of those instances.

WHAT I'VE LEARNED FROM THIS:
There are worse things than unloading the dishwasher.
Unloading, reloading and then unloading the SAME DISHES, definitely worse.

Come on, say it with me.... "UGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

Thank you, I feel better now!

Anyone else have a "uggghhhhh" moment this week??

  1. I keep starting a load of laundry only to forget about it until the next day. In our Oregon humidity that means it's now smelly and needs to be rewashed. Thank God for scented fabric softener!

  2. You are NOT alone on this one!! But there is hope!! I have given the job to my kids, wahahaha, each kid gets an entire week and they rotate, this is the one job I NEVER forget to make them do! And that says alot coming from a perfectionist when it comes to housework! But may I suggest start them young, you know, train them in the ways when they are young and when they grow they won't depart!

  5. Yes I have done the laundry one, also(: And like Danielle my children do all the unloading of the dishwasher, hallelujah! However, when I forget to turn it on and then have them unload it it's twice as bad because not only do I not know which ones they just put away, but I now have to trust their memories. Not cool.
